Aussies everywhere at World Cup Round 1

There was a handful of Australians - and an honorary Aussie - in the thick of things at the opening World Cup round in Finland this week.

In the last event held overnight, the Sprint Relay in Helsinki, NSW Junior squad coach Rob Bennett and Garingal's Duncan Currie teamed up with Victorian Mary Fleming and Kiwi Lizzie Ingham to finish 36th - eight minutes behind champions Sweden.

The map was made, and course set, by our inaugural ONSW coach-in-residence Atte Lahtinen.

Rob also ran in the opening Middle Distance race on Sunday, placing 112th. You can find all the results here.
