How does Space Racing Work?

Space Racers have 45 minutes to visit as many Space Stations as possible. However, they need to plan ahead and manage their time carefully.

All Space Racers are given a map indicating the location of Space Stations and in small teams they need to work together to locate them. Space Racers generally cover anywhere from 2-4km at an event. The distance and speed are set by the team and can be as relaxed or intense as they want. Free introductory coaching is always available from ONSW coaches.

A visit to each space station earns points but for every minute late, points are deducted.

Mum, dads, brothers, sisters and friends are all welcome to tag along or even take on the challenge themselves. You only pay for the child(ren) participating. If you cannot participate with your child, an ONSW coach can shadow them around the course for safety and to enhance the experience.
