Snow Hills State League - cancelled

With over 100mm of rain having fallen in the last 24 hours Big Foot organisers of the State League have had to take the tough decision of cancelling the event at Snow Hills this weekend. 

'We are so disappointed for everyone, but we have been keeping tabs on the weather, and even up to yesterday were hoping that we could still run the event,' says Jock Davis.  'It simply became clear today that the event is just not viable with this much water standing on the terrain.  From a 2km walk to assembly it became a 4km walk. Getting cars and kit in was just not an option.  Unsealed roads to the event site are really difficult and some of the key fords are under water.'
