50 YEARS OF ORIENTEERING – RECOGNITION AWARDS
Orienteering has occurred in NSW for over 50 years.
The Orienteering Association of NSW inaugural committee was elected at Frenchs Forest on March 24, 1972.
In 2023 ONSW established the ONSW 50 Years of Orienteering Recognition Award to recognise those current ONSW members who have reasonably consistently be involved in orienteering for at least 50 years at any level - as a competitor and/or official and/or organiser and/or mapper and/or course setter.
