Orienteering NSW Community Coach Course - TUESDAY 29TH DECEMBER from 1:30pm (Armidale Business Centre)

See flyer for more details - Flyer

Coaching Sessions Added to Program

(1)   An 'Improving your Accuracy' coaching session will be conducted in the afternoon of Day 2 at Dumaresq Dam, near Armidale. URN's Maggie Jones will be hosting the session from 2:00pm on December 28th. This 90 minute session will focus on techniques to improve your accuracy in finding controls.  Aimed at orienteers who want to graduate from Easy to Moderate courses, this will also be helpful for people who have been on Moderate or Hard courses without much technical training.

See Flyer for more details.

(2) A 'Walking Tour' of the complex granite area close to the finish at the close of the Blue Hole Event is being organised by NTN's Bob and Jenny Hawkins. The guide will show how to interpret both the map and the individual control descriptions. The 'tour' will follow the last few controls on the Hard 5 course to provide a practical introduction to the rigours of navigation on a difficult granite map.

The tour will occur if conditions are suitable on the day. Anyone interested in participating should contact Jenny Hawkins at the Registration tent at the Blue Hole event
