A reminder that entries for the 2017 World Masters Orienteering Championships close on Tuesday, January 31.
WMOC will be held in New Zealand from April 23-29. Already 1,600 athletes have entered for the championships, which this year are also a part of the World Masters Games - the world’s largest multi-sport event.
WMOC follows straight on from the Oceania orienteering champs also being held around Auckland from April 14-17. Entries for Oceania close on Feburary 28, with higher late entry fees payable until March 24.
Our Kiwi cousins have added two mid-week events between the major carnivals, and to cash in on the Lord of the Rings trilogy have named them "Middle Earth".
