The Sydney Junior Orienteering League will get underway this Sunday at Frenchs Forest. Juniors have entered courses ranging from the very easy beginners course through to the 6km event for the more experienced orienteers. The event will be centred upon the Frenchs Forest Showground with longer courses stretching across more of the suburb. The course setter has reportedly included sufficient challenge to ensure that orienteers will need to plan ahead and concentrate on their route options. It promises to be a great morning of orienteering!
Whilst the cut-off date for pre-entries has passed, juniors are very welcome to still come along and enter the event on the day. Late entries to the Junior League are also still being accepted. Full details for Sunday’s event are available here and entry forms for the Junior League here.
Family and friends are also invited to come along to the event and sample a course!
