The 47th Great NOSH Footrace was held last Sunday. There were plenty of orienteers out trail running or volunteering for the day.
Some orienteers at the top end of results included Georgina Beech (WHO), Steven Horrocks (GO) and Nick Stanley (GO).
The Great NOSH Footrace is an Orienteering NSW event, organised by Bold Horizons and Bennelong Northside Orienteers with volunteers provided by Garingal Orienteers, Uringa Orienteering Club, Big Foot Orienteers, Western & Hills Orienteers and Bennelong Northside Orienteers.
Special thanks to Barbara Hill from Bold Horizons for organising the event and allocating all the volunteers jobs etc.
Thanks to all those clubs and the 40+ volunteers that were in attendance for many hours and in the days leading up to the event.
Tentative date is Sunday, 4 June 2023 for The 48th Great NOSH Footrace next year.
Hopefully we will be back at Lindfield for the start, with less COVID, flu, rain, track closures, track erosion and more issues that all made appearances this year.
