Orienteering Australia is pleased to announce the following athletes have been selected to compete at the World University Orienteering Championships in Bankso, Bulgaria from the 1st to the 5th of August, 2024.
Ladies - Zoe Carter (SA), Mikayla Cooper (TAS), Justine Hobson (ACT), Nea Shingler (NSW), Emily Sorenson (SA) and Caitlin Young (ACT).
Men - Alastair George (NSW), Angus Haines (SA), Callum White (VIC), Ewan Shingler (NSW), Leith Soden (SA) and David Stocks (ACT).
Team Leaders: Brodie Nankervis and Mary Fleming
The athletes will compete in a Sprint, Sprint Relay, Middle and Relay competition.
Our team is composed of several members of the 2022 team, who will be aiming to build upon their great performances in Switzerland.
Adding in some emerging talents, we are excited to see what they can achieve in Bulgaria in August!
