Big Foot Orienteers are the host club for the first State League races this year, and they have got off to a flying start by opening the online entries already. Planners Mark Shingler and Greg Barbour promise terrain which delivers 'mostly good running in gully spur plus some gold-mining. Open eucalypt forests with some areas of low visibility cypress pine. There are some steeper slopes but most of the map is gently undulating terrain. The gold mining has "canyon" like features , with steep cuttings and few exits and entries'. Sounds like fun!
