A coaching and training camp is planned for the weekend of the 19th and 20th of February from 8.30am Saturday to 3.00pm Sunday. The camp will be held at Belanglo State Forest and the Belanglo Hut.
This weekend will be of interest to any orienteer wishing to become a coach and progress towards gaining Level 1 coaching qualifications as well as any current coach wanting to help with the weekends activities and further develop their own existing coaching qualifications. The activities will teach the technical skills required to move from very easy (blue) courses to easy (green) courses and to moderate (orange) courses.
The coaching and training sessions will be run concurrently and will involve both theorectical and practical sessions. All particicpant will need to have writing equipment and orienteering equipment, including an SI stick.
Some accommodation is available in the Hut and of course camping is available with toilets, showers and cooking facilities (you must provide your own food). A dinner is planned for Saturday evening (details later).

Andy Hill made it two wins in a row on Sue Davis' Sydney Olympic Park course, overhauling Ian Meyer at the 12th of 14 controls, whilst Matthew Hill flew the flag for the juniors after a slow start. Fastest woman was Kiwi rep Amber Morrison, beating Big Foot's Cath Chalmers by almost two minutes.
Commiserations to Bev Johnson who missed having a run whilst waiting for the NRMA to arrive.

Entries will be accepted for this teams event up to Thursday 8pm.
Sportident will be used in each event.
