Brickworks Park permanent course opens

Our Newcastle club has installed a new permanent course at Brickworks Park in Wallsend.
It opened on Saturday and is available to do at any time. The information panel has been erected next to the shared path at the turning circle at the end of Iranda Grove.
ONSW offers a big thank you to the Rigbys for their work on this project, and to the City of Newcastle for their financial support. This is Newcastle's third such course.
There are 3 ways you can get a copy of the Brickworks Park map:
* pick one up at Wallsend Library
* download and print copies from the Newcastle permanent course web page
* download the MapRun smart-phone app and follow the instructions on the Newcastle club or ONSW web page
Brickworks Park has barbecues, toilets and a small playground, as well as the bird hide next to the pond in the old brickpit, so come and enjoy the facilities of one of your local parks.
