Club/ONSW Membership
Choose your club from one Orienteering NSW’s 14 clubs and enjoy all the benefits of being part of a friendly, active community, not only across NSW but across Australia and around the world. Your fee covers membership of your chosen club and through your club, the state association (ONSW).
2024 / 2025 Membership Fees
On 21 November 2023, the ONSW Board approved the following Membership Fees for 2024 and 2025.

1 Available in Eventor on 1st December of the preceding year thereby offering new members a 13 month membership.
2 Remote Clubs are Bush ‘n’ Beach, Hastings Orienteering Group, Northern Tablelands, Goldseekers, and Wagga and Riverina (ref ONSW Manual 3.4).
3 This rate applies to all junior members, i.e. Voting Juniors aged 18-20 (ref ONSW Constitution 2021) and Juniors aged 0-17.

Please note: There will no longer be a Half Year Membership.
Membership for each year will open 1st December of the preceding year for new and renewing memberships e.g. 1 December 2023 for 2024 Calendar Year.

Financial benefits
⇒ Discount on all NSW orienteering event entry fees (typically $4 per event) – a great financial benefit.
- The Senior membership annual fee would be covered by doing roughly one event per month
- The Junior membership annual fee is covered by doing just two events
⇒ Reciprocal membership discounts when orienteering in other states – offered automatically through orienteering’s Australia-wide online event entry system, Eventor. Entry of International events and reciprocal member discounts is another benefit.
⇒ Junior members who are at school can access the NSW government Active Kids vouchers for event entry fees.
⇒ Special offers locally.
- Example: orienteers may purchase a Sydney Summer Series Season ticket (30% discount) for the [normally] 26-week series – one registration and payment covers the whole series.
