2020 membership at record levels

ONSW is delighted to announce record levels of membership despite a year badly affected by the coronavirus.
At December 31, 2020 we had 1449 members - an increase of 5% on 2019 levels which were also a record.
Memberships (people can join as individuals or a family) grew a whopping 13% to a record 753.
Renewal rates were 79% but new members accounted for 23% of all memberships in an encouraging sign during trying times.
Our 14 clubs held 210 events in 2020 (down 30%) but this drop relates to the four-month period when there was no community sport. Likewise, total attendance was down 34% to 17,259.
These wonderful figures are a testament to our clubs and their hard-working volunteers.
At last night's annual general meeting, Louise Brooks (SHOO) was voted onto the Board and Technical Director Andrew Lumsden (Big Foot) stepped down after nine years of fantastic service. Thank you Andrew.
