Two events on Saturday 21st September 2024 - AM & PM
Venue: Willoughby Leisure Centre. Meet outside, at the rear of the Centre. Incorporating this weekend's Saturday Orienteering Series as well.
Start Window: 9:30am to 11am (you can start any time within this time window). Course closure: 12pm
Courses: Short Line, Long Line, and Score. If it’s your first time, there will be plenty of assistants to help you quickly get the idea of what to do. There is plenty of information about orienteering on the Garingal website (garingal.com.au)
Groups: Families and friends are very welcome to complete a course as a group. If participating as a group, kindly enter at least one member of the group for a paid or host school student ticket. Each of these entries entitles that person to a course map, timing chip and recorded result. Accompanying family members and friends who do not need a map, timing chip or recorded result should kindly register as Group Members.
Venue: Kirrawee Oval, Helena Street/Forest Road, Kirrawee
Toilets and water should be available
START: 2.00pm - 3.00pm
You must finish by 4.00pm
COURSES APPROX:
Line courses optimum route: Short 2.6km, Medium 4.4km, Long - 6.5km
All entrants must report back to the computer download area please, so we know you have returned back from your course.
Please note NO DOGS allowed in Nat Park areas. Check with organiser to see which courses enter the NP.

NSW State League 9 “Middle Distance” this Sunday, finish the winter season with a great course as a lead up to Armidale!

Location is Kentlyn. Organised by Southern Highlands Orienteers (SHOO)
Directions Take M5 to Narellan Rd (Campbelltown) exit. Proceed east for about 2km turning left into Oxley St. After about 1km turn right into Broughton St. Proceed for about 2km. Note, the road changes into the George River Road. Turn left into Darling Ave. Proceed 1km and cross Old Kent Rd.
See Eventor for Google Maps Parking, Start on grass west side of Darling Avenue. DO NOT park in the Girl Guides property.
Queuing starts 0930 to 1100 for all courses 150m track walk from the assembly.
New Map Terrain - “Peter Meadows Creek”, 1:7500 Sydney sandstone with an extensive track network & mixed vegetation. Rocks maybe slippery. Recommend full cover attire on the Moderate and Hard courses.
